Our Vision and Story

Hello!  My name is Doria Baldwin, and I am a twenty-year veteran teacher and caregiver.  My idea for this company came from my dear Aunt Rose, who wasn't actually my aunt, but my nanny growing up who loved me like a mother.  She was the light of my life, and I was the apple of her eye.  We spent our days talking about life, and she would listen to me sing, watch all of my made-up dance routines, and make sure I had my midnight snack of Rice Krispies after the Johnny Carson Show.  When my mother worked overtime, I often spent my holidays with her and her family.  She suffered from aplastic anemia, so I kept her company at the hospital as a young girl during her blood transfusions.  I just never knew how sick she actually was. One day in September, near my birthday, she went into the hospital for three months and never made it out. My world was shattered, and my heart broke into a million pieces forever.  I still can't talk about her without crying. Years later, her daughter shared with me that I kept her spirit alive, and she probably lived longer because of me.  I was her only company as her husband had died a year prior to me being born, and her daughters lived out of state.

I started this company in her honor, and I hope that our team of professionals can help bring as much joy to you and your loved one as Aunt Rose and I brought to one another.
