Hello! I am a native of New Orleans and moved to St. Louis in 2002.  I am proud of my Southern roots and Cajun French and Greek heritage. I bring Southern hospitality and the warmth and family values of the Greek culture to my senior friends and their families. I taught for twenty years, ten of which were in the Rockwood School District. I enjoy hiking, swimming, singing, dancing, traveling, volunteering at the animal shelter, and spending time with my wonderful husband of twenty years, my adult son, my teen son, my sweet parents, and my beloved goldendoodles. I’m looking forward to meeting my senior friends and their families.

I have a passion for working with seniors. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my four-legged friend, Louie. I also have a small dog named Messy and two amazing cats, Ride and Cleo. I enjoy cooking, reading, journaling, and watching T.V. in the evenings to relax. I have two amazing college-aged daughters. I look forward to meeting my senior friends.

Hi, I am originally from Louisiana, so my mom and I head down there once a year to see our family and friends. I love spending time with family, and I am blessed to still have my parents. I have three children who are almost grown up. I enjoy hiking, biking, and cooking. I am active in my church, and I look forward to the first Friday of each month for Bunko night. I am very excited to meet my senior friends.

Wendy

Hi!  My name is Wendy, and I am a mom to two and stepmom to three children, ages that range from 16-27.  I have been an educator for 27 years, and I have a wide range of things that I like to do, and I am looking forward to spending time with my senior friends!  I love crafting, traveling, trying new food, and trying to make new recipes or baking cookies.  Additionally, I enjoy doing puzzles, playing board games, and even assembling adult Lego kits.  I just built a poinsettia with my mom over the holidays. I am not much of a reader, but I do love crime shows and junk TV.  I am open to trying new things and spending time with older adults. I hope that my mom, who lives four hours away, has someone like me who would love to spend time with her also. I’m excited to meet my senior friends.

Marty

Hello, my name is Marty, I have been teaching for over 17 years. Some of my teaching experience includes teaching Physical Education and Adaptive Physical Education with special needs students. I  was also the Inclusion Coordinator at Christ the King School.

One of my biggest professional accomplishments was developing a PE Mentor program at Parkway West High School in St. Louis.  The program combined Special Education students and General Education students all working together. It was a huge success for all students involved, which led to relationships that carried out outside the classroom and the school walls.

I truly enjoy working with all ages. I am a firm believer in the importance of physical activity for all individuals, not only is physical activity important for our bodies but it also helps promote  good mental stability as well. I am extremely passionate about working with people and believe in adapting all activities to help maintain an engaging lifestyle. I’m looking forward to meeting new senior friends.

I come from a BIG Irish family so piling 25 people in a 10 x 10 room just so we can be close is a real thing!   We are blessed with 3 boys and 1 girl all married who gave me the gift of being a“Yaya” to four adorable grandchildren.   There is a rainbow in the sky every time we are together!  I was blessed to have an active sports family.    I was a national acro-sport gymnast and power tumbler, coached gymnastics for many years and the local hometown swim-team during the summer months when I was younger.   Whether its soccer, swimming, boating, or piling in the golfcart to chase the ice cream man for that special treat, my family is just as happy quoting movies that we’ve already seen a dozen times or playing a game in front of the fire on these cold winter nights.   Love, laughter, and a little bickering are the perfect combination for my crazy life.   Take it day by day and savor every minute 😊

Family is at the heart of everything I do-I'm happily married with three amazing kids who keep life exciting. Summer is my favorite season, and you'll find me outside enjoying the warm weather as much as possible. Music is my passion; I love all genres and never miss a chance to go to a concert. I also enjoy puzzles, games and getting lost in a good book.

Above all, my favorite moments were those spent with my grandma, who was and always will be my favorite person. Her love and wisdom continue to inspire me everyday.  I am looking forward to making new senior friends.

Hi, I’m Linda, a married mom of two grown kids and eight grandchildren. My family is originally from St Louis so we spend lots of time together. I grew up with four siblings, so taking care of each other and helping around the house was part of each day. I’m retired from teaching after 30+ years at the Early Childhood and Elementary level. I enjoy scrapbooking, trying new recipes, watching my grandkids play many sports, and traveling. I’m involved with my church and in the community. Bringing smiles to others is my goal each day. Whether it’s as a mother, educator, church attendee, elder care sitter, house cleaner or family member, I try to inspire in an atmosphere that is fun and enjoyable. I enjoy reading, especially the Bible, teaching, walking my dog, decorating and crafts, shopping for bargains, playing games, and helping others.

My 95 year old grandmother lives in Kansas City. I love spending time helping my grandmother prepare for the holidays, which includes decorating, cleaning and cooking. My grandmother loves having her family at her home for the holidays and I love helping her make it possible. Grandma’s smiles makes me and the whole family smile!  I am looking forward to meeting other seniors and helping them
